You are about to learn about the most important and thoughtful decision since MU the brand was born.
We have been working hard for almost 2 years to achieve our dream of creating a brand of high-quality sneakers, made with organic Spanish leather and, above all, manufactured in Spain with the extensive knowledge of our local artisans.
When we started we never imagined we would be able to grow so fast. Lately we have been investing in creating new models, increasing our presence on social media and in physical stores. We are very proud of what we have achieved in such a short time!
We have many ideas in our heads and we want to continue like this, growing and improving to always offer you the best FOR YOU.
We want to continue adding new models (with the development costs that this entails) and continue growing to create more jobs and thus continue to push forward the Spanish footwear industry that has been gradually disappearing.
Without forgetting to always give you the best service, maintaining free shipping and exchanges (with the cost that this entails).
THE TRUTH ABOUT MU THE BRAND
Unfortunately, we cannot achieve this in the current situation. We have to be honest with you and with ourselves...
As you know, inflation has risen and this means that everything, absolutely everything, has risen.
Materials, shipping, electricity, factory workers' salaries... even the cardboard for the boxes!
Do you know that in less than 2 years we have already seen 2 factories go bankrupt with the consequences that this has for their workers?
With such high costs MU the brand can no longer survive.
THE SALVATION OF MU THE BRAND
At MU we do not want to give up our values. We want to continue investing in manufacturing in Spain and the only way possible is by raising prices.
But don't panic! We're raising the price by 14 euros for the Icon model and 20 euros for the boot model.
It's not a big shock for you but for us it's our salvation.
This is the only solution we have to continue growing and to always be able to offer you the best quality manufactured in Spain with sustainable materials and by workers who receive a fair wage.
WHEN WILL WE RAISE PRICES?
We know this is not good news and that is why we are not going to raise prices immediately.
The increase will be effective on August 26.
Until then you have the opportunity to buy some MUs with what will soon be almost a 15% discount.
But from August 26th there will be no turning back. We hope you understand us!
If you want to take advantage and buy now, we are happy for you to do so (we would too!).
If you prefer to wait for the price increase, we would be very grateful.
